PVScanner

Verification of bill of materials for PV modules in the palm of your hand.

PVScanner uses a high sensitivity NIR optical sensor to inspect the bill of materials of PV modules. Since a large number of PV modules are failing in the field, affecting both yield and safety, it is essential that the bill of materials of incoming PV modules are verified and identified.

By using spectral reflectance measurements, the backsheet type and Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) can be identified. Currently we are working on the extension of encapsulants.

  • Onsite BOM verification

  • Detection of BOM deviations

  • Incoming modules inspection

  • Direct identification of backsheet type

  • High sensitivity NIR optical sensor

  • Non-destructive probing

  • Results after seconds

  • Handheld and light

  • Local or cloud-based app usage

  • Continously updated database for better results

  • 5 backsheet stacks implemented + EVA

  • Full spectral data available

  • Based on proven Nynomic technology

  • Employing data and AI model from HI ERN
